I have this love hate relationship with super models. You know those bitches that get paid no less than $10 grand a day to stand in front of a camera and pout. It just seems wrong to me that theses women get paid gobs of money to be a living manequin. Now mind you, if I was that beautiful to make $10K a day strutting my stuff, than you bet I would. Absolutely! It's screaming hypocrisy, but why not.
You can tell where the values of a culture lie when you look at the salaries of what it's people are paid. For this example, let's leave out anyone in the religious professions like priests, nuns, etc. I'm just talking about regular old Joes and Janes. Ok, let's take a peek (these are all averages). Supermodel=$2 million/year, Teacher=$60,000/year, Engineer=$90,000/year, Pro Baseball player=$2 million/year (avg), Plastic surgeon=$750,000/year, Fire fighter=$45,000/year. What's wrong with this picture???
Now, at least being a pro ball player and a plastic surgeon require a lot of training, and great talent. What is necessary to be a super model? You just have to be over 5'9", have high cheek bones with a proportioned face, have a 24" waist, and be able to walk in 3" heels. That's it. The downside though is that these bitches have to forever stay in their skinny jeans, because the second they don't, poof, no more mulah, no more red carpet, no more Hollywood bad boy boyfriend. That's why they snort smack, eat lettuce, smoke 2 packs a day, and drink only coffee. Man, it could only get better in my dreams.
