Every Sunday last season, I was glued to my TV for every episode of Grey's Anatomy. LOVE the show. But the season ending was a HUGE disappointment for me, and I don't know about you guys, but I was thoroughly disgusted with the cardinal sinners: Izzie, Meredith, and Derek at the end.
Yeah, yeah, Izzie's man died, poor ex-model gone surgeon. But you know what, Izzie played a big part in Denny's death because she was trying to play God. What was Izzie's cardinal sin: though shall not steal another man's heart, literally. Pretty girl has gotten away with many things in her life, she even openly admits that, and she cheats the system so she won't be alone. What about that other guy on the heart transplant list with a wife and two kids? He waited his turn. She stole his chance. Denny was way too good for Izzie, and sorry, but she needs to keep her underwear model ass out of Seattle Grace.
Meredith and Derek? Scumbags deserve each other. I'm surprised Christina didn't open a can of whoop ass on Grey when she fessed up to her prom fornication. McVet? Please! Run as fast as you can like a herd of antelope AWAY from Meredith. You KNOW your prom date shagged another guy at the dance while you were sipping on punch, and you still want to be in the game. And please, you all know, he knows, even though he didn't say it out loud. Go throw your hat into someone else's circle. McDreamy finally tells Meredith "I love you" when he hasn't even left his wife yet. It makes me feel like I need to go take a pooper pill.
The scene with Dr. Baily and the husband, in plague contamination, who lost his Giselle was an Emmy performance. No doubt. To see Eugene from "The Practice" cry and hurt like he did, broke my heart. One would be so lucky to have a love like that in their life.
I'm glad that George did not tell his Lady Dr that he loved her just because he feels like he'll be there "soonish." Taking lead from McDreamy? George knows better.
Diahann Carroll joins next week as Burke's momma, and you just know that she will be Diva-tastic to the bone, and all up in Yang's scrubs. I look forward to Momma in the house. Also, I hear rumor that McSteamy is coming back. Addison and McSixPack make so much better sense. Oh! and he loves her.
Update: I may not have dug Grey's last night, but 3 million more people liked it better than CSI: Original recipe. Let the ratings war begin! Yet another reason to get TIVO.
