The London Development agency has given 620,000 GBP ($1,154,494 US bucks) over the last 3 years for the twice-yearly London fashion week. That is some serious mullah, and it is surprising to me to know that government dollars, or pounds in this case, is spent on catwalking.
SWEET! Someone in a position of power is setting some financial boundaries. A powerful way to get these delusional fashionistas to get serious about the too-skinny problem is to hit them in the wallet. I'm all for the mayor and his effort to take a stance. My wish is that more funders of fashion weeks around the world do the same thing.
