America Ferrera is a CosmoGirl covergirl. Sweet!

So, this has got to be a first. A real girl with curves who eats more than grapes and green beans is on the cover of CosmoGirl magazine. America Ferrara of Ugly Betty will be the rag's February face (on stands now.) Look see. I am so proud of CosmoGirl for putting America on the cover.

This young lady is a fantastic role model, and her quick Q&A in Cosmogirl.com gives you a glimpse as to her maturity.  America is not in her Betty garb, and she's a bit glam-ed up here, but still, look at this cover, and ooo-and-ahh with me. When asked about playing Ugly Betty, this is what America had to say:

"I actually feel so beautiful when I'm playing Betty. She has such a light and such a confidence that just comes out of her, and having to be in that character 15 hours a day … I find that I'm a happier person because I have to be who she is most of the time."
