Stephen Colbert inspired ice cream "Americone Dream"

If there's one food keeping me out of my skinny jeans, it would be ice cream. Stephen Colbert is one of my favorite satirists. So put them together and give me TIVO and I am in blogger heaven. Ben & Jerry's decided to create a Colbert delicacy called "Americone Dream" consisting of vanilla ice ream with fudge covered waffle pieces and streaks of caramel. The tagline: "The sweet taste of liberty in your mouth."

But Colbert is not backing the ice cream agenda. Nope. He is spreading the wealth of his proceeds to charity through his new Stephen Colbert Americone Dream Fund, which will distribute the dough to various causes. What a sweet way to raise money for the children. I don't know what charities he'll donate to, but you know darn well that children will be involved somehow. "It's all for the children."
