Honestly, I would love to be wearing Vera Wang on my wedding day mostly because I just love how this woman designs, and I love that I am supporting a self made designer who owns 100% of her brand which has generated $225 million in wholesale. I admire this smart and talented lady.
In the April issue of Elle, Vera Wang talks about her new line with Kohls, "Very Vera by Vera Wang" and about her "empire."
On Very Vera, she says:
“As much as I love these amazing clothes we do, I always think, God, I wish I could do this so a lot of real women could enjoy them. Now they can.”
When asked about her empire, Vera says:
“People always say I’m an empire. Ralph Lauren is an empire. Chanel, Armani. Not me!”
