I'm posting this story on behalf of my sister-in-law Casey who blogs about her triplet daughters. Yes, Auntie/Godmomma Steph is so proud of her three little honeys who will be 2 in August after being born 15 weeks premature. The girls are fighters.
Another family with triplet girls needs the help of community as their daughter Elyse, the oldest of the triplets, has been diagnosed with HLH disease, a rare and life-threatening blood disorder which occurs in only one in a million people. She is need of a bone marrow donor, and until then is currently receiving chemotherapy until a donor match is found. For more info on Elyse Yu and bone marrow donation, please visit her site.
Here is a really good video with the family and the doctor explaining more about HLH, and what Elyse needs to get better. She does have a chance of living through this if she gets the bone marrow treatment as soon as possible. Thank you all for your time.
