Now, over at Jezebel, they have the original Redbook cover shot of Faith Hill before all the digital manipulation. In this additional post, Jezebel points out at least 11 areas where Redbook photo retouched Ms. Faith Hill. They basically made Faith skinnier, and less wrinkled. A Jezebel reader re-created the Faith Redbook cover with the original shot, and personally, I think it's a much better cover than the one Redbook photochopped. It's real!
For crying out loud! If someone like Faith Hill is not good enough as is to be on the cover of a woman's magazine, than doesn't it make you question why some of us are killing ourselves trying to look celebrities who don't even look like themselves. It also sends the message that no matter how beautiful you are, you're still not perfect enough. Hmmmm?
