Glamour photochops America Ferrera cover because they don't like the "Ugly" part of Betty

Glamamerica_2 Glamour's need to change America Ferrera into something "better" is about as brilliant an idea as New Coke. We LOVE the original, and the whole reason for Ugly Betty's popularity is her regularness. We adore the flaws, the humanness, and the vibrant spirit that is Betty Suarez from Queens.

But see, the magazine editors just cannot help themselves. "Must photochop. Must skinnify." At the Glamour website, the title line is, "Ugly Betty is a bombshell." Yeah! Only after Glamour bombed away inches off her physique with digital retouching to fit their ideal of bombastic.

And for Pete's sake, at the very least, if you are going to photochop our beautiful Betty, at least do a good job of it. This photo manipulation is just heinous, and makes America look like a Fembatron. Ye gads Glamour, stop messing with something that is as sacred to us as our Betty. Leave America alone. She is cover worthy as is.
