Have you ever sent your inner critics on vacation, and gave yourself a week where not once you criticized or judged yourself? Since this is a short work week, why not take the next four days and give yourself time to just be you and tell the tribunal of faultfinders in your head that they are to go away for awhile.
Judging yourself while you are trying to lose weight is something that many of us do to ourselves. We fret about what we ate, what we didn't eat, how are body looks, or doesn't look. We obsess about plateaus and how to get out of them. We put ourselves through the ringer when we start gaining back any weight cursing our lack of will power and commitment.
Sometimes things just don't go according to the picture in our heads, and when it doesn't workout the way you wanted or expected that doesn't mean you're a failure, a loser, or a disappointment. Really the only people who think that are the inner naysayers you give power to. Those inner critics may be a reflection of real people and influences in your life, but at the end of the day, you are the one with the power to dispel those inner faultfinders.
So, take the next 4 days and give yourself a break. Have a week where judgment, fault finding, and nit picking yourself does not exist. Focus on what is lovable about you, what is great about you, and what makes you feel vibrant. This is a gift to yourself.
