I mentioned last week that I'm taking a break from the weight loss program, but I decided it would still be a good idea to keep the weekly status report because it helps me to stay focused until I reach my goal, and it's part of that "not-so-perfect human-ness middle" in the success story time line.
I did a video for this week's Weigh-in Wed because I wanted to start getting more comfortable seeing myself on video plus you can get a glimpse of my new pad. For me, seeing myself on video instantly triggers the inner critic who starts nitpicking and judging every single flaw. "Ugh, look at my double chin. Yuck. I have bags under my eyes. Oh geez! Look at that frizzy hair. etc etc etc." I start focusing on the negative instead of seeing the beauty.
Doing video is an exercise in self love and acceptance. So, going forward, expect to see more of my posts in video. Enjoy!
