"Lily Allen slims from size 12 to an 8 by having her brain "reprogrammed." This story just made me both laugh and whince because it sounds so hokey yet scaringly it could be true. I'm hoping it's made up tabloid trash.
In this case, the story sounds bizarre because Lily Allen has been vocal in the past about loving her curvy body and down playing the whole notion of the skinny obsession albeit she did mention falling prey to gathering info about liposuction. In a fit of weakness, who hasn't?
There's nothing wrong with wanting to drop a few for the sake of health, but I don't believe that Lily Allen is that contradictory in her values or would cave into media pressure that fast. Although, rumor has it too that the inspiration for the weight loss could be her new boyfriend, and many of us have dropped weight for that very reason too. Lily's known for her "standing out from the crowd." I could be completely wrong as I don't know her in real life. I think this is a story more from the mouth of the hypnotist who wants publicity as it is mentioned that the hypnotist cost $611/hour. But again, who knows. Lily apparently said to the Daily Mail:
"After the hypnotism, I want to go to the gym every day, otherwise I feel really bad. I just want to get more toned and healthy. I'm really good about everything at the moment -- I've never been happier."
