  • Sarah is from Scotland living in Thailand with hubbie. Check out what it's like to run a 5k in Thailand for Burma Relief, yes one of those runs for charity where you should have collected some coin but didn't because you, um, just wanted a fitness challenge not run for the children. It's alright. We've all been there. I got a big giggle looking at the picture of the "race tent." [A Year in the Land of Smiles]
  • Jennifer is enjoying the changing Fall colors in New York as she is on "Cup Cake" tour. I so wish I had her job. She and pal Kristen went to gym Crunch where they take a class called, "Body Web with TRX System." Intriguing indeed. And after all the crunching, they go munch on these things called, "The Flagel." I want to eat some of those! [Creative Confectionery]
  • Ashley recently celebrated her birthday and because her family is all over the place she had a 3-day birthday celebration that involved 4 birthday cakes. Oh boy! Do we ever know this situation all to well, and what fright all this consumption of birthday food can entail. But, not to worry, Ashley came up with 5 tips that helped her partake yet still enjoy, and feel light and fresh. Awesome tips! [Healthy Ashley]
  • Leslie has recently dropped 65 pounds and depending on, well whatever, as we all have experienced, she can either wear a 10 or 12. She fondly remembers the last time she wore a size 10 pair of jeans... and they were white. Girl, I've never been brave enough ever to wear white jeans. [Slayer of Masculinity]
  • Have you heard of the P90x Core Synergistics? It's some serious kick ass, working the core, zOMG! I can't believe how hard my muscles are burning kind of thing. Maria tried it our for the first time, and this is what she thought. Included is a video of some guy doing a "Prison Cell" Push-Up and wow. [Another Maria]
  • Jessica is a running enthusiast, former NCAA competitor, and wannabe marathoner who's been training. She's been trying out new foods and, recently, to celebrate Ethiopian marathoner Haile Gebrselassie who broke his own world record of running 26.2 miles in under 2 hours 4 minutes, holey cow!, Jess went to an Ethiopian restaurant. Here's a picture of the bountiful platter she shared with friends. If you haven't tried Ethiopian food, it's really good, one of my faves. [See Jess Run]
