- Long time reader Kyle and her husband in Chile are focusing on their abundance by paying forward the good others have done for them by helping friend Marcelo a young 23-year-old hardworking good guy get a degree Tecnico en Construccion from La Universidad Catolica de Chile, one of the top two prestigious colleges in Chile.
Now what is amazing is that tuition is 97,000 Chilean pesos a month ($170.82 U.S. dollars at today’s exchange rate), plus 50,000 ($88.05) matriculation fee once a semester. This is so doable folks, so let's help Kyle out. She is selling her photos as one way to help finance this young man's future, and seriously folks, Kyle's work is amazing. I can totally relate to this because I can see in my own life where I wish I had done something different in the past, however, the path I did choose ended up helping me grow and learn, and in many cases I did not see that until years later. - I have to say I just love saying the name of this blog, "Cat's Puke." Makes me giggle in an I Can Has Cheezeburger way every time. Dear CP is from England, and she recently found the most perfect garden on the Isle of Islay in Scotland named "The Kitchen Garden," and how abundant indeed this garden looks. Great pictures! - Lisa had one of those weekends, like we've all had, where the eating gotta a bit "off program" starting with a neighbor's birthday party and pizza. You know the scene, you start eating carb loaded food, then sweets, then fats, etc etc, and before you know it the weekend has zipped by, and the flood gates for self loathing and berating can swing wide open come Monday morning. - Alexia found some new motivation for running from uber marathoner Dean Karnazes. This guy ran 50 marathons in 50 states in 50 days, and won the 2007 ESPY for "Best Outdoor Athlete." Holy admiration! Dean shares that he has met many people who have dropped enormous amount of weight because of running, and Alexia shares his #1 observation of what kept them motivated. - Emily has started reading the book Life Without Ed
by Jenni Schafer which is about her recovery from an eating disorder (Ed), and how she separated the voice of Ed from Jenni, and got a divorce from him. Emily shares snipets of conversations she has with her Ed who is a bitchy teenager named Tiffany. I've done this exercise myself in therapy and it sooooo helps.
