A 6-year old's comment on "America's Next Top Model"
Mama, over at the blog Mamavision, is a former model, and now the mother of two children, and a business woman. Here is a video where she talks briefly about her experience as a model, how she later tried to "hide" that fact and why, the topic of nakedness in modeling, and then what her 6-year old daughter said to her after catching a glimpse of the Tyra Banks show, "America's Next Top Model."
Again, to the fashionistas who don't think that what they do has any influence on how young girls feel about beauty and body image, you cannot hide behind your own skirt. There is nothing wrong with glamour, but you need to be more responsible about the messages you are sending out.
