There's a blog called Confessions of a Casting Director, and he is a New Yorker who pontificates about the pretty people in NY. In his post, MySpace Model Generation, COAD, shows us a cast of about 2 dozen models that he felt made an impact at last week's fashion week in NYC. He describes the MySpace models:
"The girls today are a bit wiser, a bit cooler and a bit real. They are
a bit shorter, a bit smaller and a bit skinnier. They know the fashion,
they know the magazines and they know the internet."
Great. A new legion of narcissistic models. At least this group is computer savvy, and that requires some brains. These snapshots though look like a pedophile's collection. Am I rankling? You betcha.
