Set your Tivos, cause Ugly Betty premieres tonight on ABC. I've been anxiously waiting for this show to make its debut. It will be a refreshing balance to the other beauty-obsessed show Nip/Tuck.

Of course the comparisons to the Devil Wears Prada are rampant, so here's a fighter comparison of Betty Suarez vs. Andy Sachs. Unlike Andy, Betty will not get en extreme makeover to fit in with the rest of the claw scratching beauty-tantes. She will stay true to herself. I secretly wonder out loud how long that will last, but if Salma Hayak stays on as Executive Producer, I will hold high hopes.
