An episode of CSI Miami last week, "If Looks could kill," reminded me that male models suffer from the same beauty obsession as the ladies. Perhaps not to the same degree, but nonetheless, the search for physical perfection is crucial for these guys to stay on top of their game. In the CSI episode, one male model killed another male model because he was pissed that the guy was getting magazine covers and he wasn't.
The ladies are striving for the size 2, and for the guys it's the six pack with the perfect V-shape with the 31" waist. You know these guys live in the gym, and don't eat much either. They are eating though more than the ladies because you can't have muscles without food for fuel.
Because of the rise of the male model, and the "metro" rage, the men in our society are getting a bigger taste of the pressures we women face everyday.
