One day I would love to own a pair of authentic Jimmy Choos. My current budget though is more along the lines of Gimme Shoes, but we can dream nonetheless.
How do you feel when you put on a pair of slinky high heels? I feel tall and hot. Even if the heels are those Naturalizer basketball playing type spikes, I always feel highly feminine and powerful in them heels. As much as I would love to wear them, I can't get away with wearing those skinny-spiked, long pointy toed heels like the ones SJP used to wear all the time in Sex and the City because on a size 6 foot, those shoes look adorable, but on a size 10 foot when you're 5'7" it looks like someone added a tongue to your shoe. Not attractive at all!
But alas, although very pretty, the high heels put wear and tear on your body. Over at FitSugar, in "Pretty and Pretty Bad for your Body", the ladies share with us the detrimental aches and pains heels can inflict on your body, as well as mention something about inflamed ligaments and hammer toes. OMG! We can't have jacked up toes sliding into those cute flip flops for summer around the corner. I am so going back to wearing those comfy Nine West flats of mine.
