What's more embarrasing to buy at the drugstore?

FitSugar has this interesting poll about what is more embarrassing to buy Condoms or Monistat Yeast Infection Cream? At some point, we all have something in our store basket that we quickly want to purchase and dodge right outta the store. Personally, I think buying condoms means you are responsible, and buying yeast cream, well, we've all been there, and ahhhhh! what a relief the cream brings.

For me, here's some things I have to say caused me some embarrassment at the check out line. I think it's funny now:

• Mustache hair cream remover

• Stretch mark cream "remover" (caught up in the dream)

• Chia Pet

• Rubber nipples (like the ones in Sex & the City)

• Wine in a box (I used to live near Napa)

And speaking of ribbing, Victoria is wearing this see thru-ish black ribbed tank top where her nipples are playing peek-a-boo. Next time Victoria, you might want to use "Low Beams" so you don't scare the children.

"Doll Face" The futility of vanity

Thanks to mooiness for tipping us on this post modern clip, by a very talented college student, that I think vividly illustrates how we women can/will desperately chase an image of beauty we see in the media. We're like a moth to the flame. In the end, our desperation only leaves us broken. I got chills watching this video, very thought provoking.

What's even more heart warming about this clip is that at one point they let go of each other, but not for long. The bigger one soon grabs the other's "hand." Awwww!

People magazine showcases celebrities without make up

There's a fascination with seeing celebs minus all the glam because we want to see how flawed they are because no woman even a celebrity can look like a celluloid goddess 24/7. In People magazines new "Most Beautiful People 2007," there's a spread on some famous mugs without their lipstick and foundation.

On the People.com site they show, Drew Barrymore, Katharine McPhee, Rihanna, Jessica Biel, Rashida Jones, and Rosario Dawson au natural. But seriously People, these photos are beautifully lit and photographed, and some of the ladies are not even looking directly at the camera. Anyone would still look good under those circumstances.

But it gets better. There is a video clip with Katharine McPhee as she gets ready for her "no make-up" shoot. In this clip, McPhee is sitting in a chair as a makeup artist is most obviously putting some kinds of touch ups on Katharine's face. It's not just moisturizer. Again People, no make-up means nothing, nada. if you need a makeup artist to look natural, it's NOT natural.

As well, there is no one over 32 years old in this online spread. Maybe there will be more in the magazine, but what about older actresses? Show us some starlets over 40 years old without their face paint. Age is beautiful too.

Have you seen the beefcake Excedrin Back & Body commercial

I was catching some trashy gossip on Entertainment Tonight last night. Normally I don't watch commercials but damn! I ended up drooling watching this Excedrin Back & Body commercial because it had this hunk of shirtless muscley manness running through the woods.

Yes, let me take a superficial break and tell you that I could have cared less about the product. I just wanted to watch this pectoral wonder get water splashed all over him. Whoa!

Beyond the manly testosterone, it would be fabulistic to see a woman with curves and muscles running through the woods just like fitness model Rusty Joiner did in this Excedrin commercial. Muscles are hot!

Michelle Malkin doing a wretched cheerleader

I'm all for satire and having a strong point of view, but Geez Michelle!, dressing up like a cheerleader in ponytails calling people losers is so high school. Why not just cheer for things the conservatives get excited about instead of putting others down? I get the point. I shudder the execution.

"You" get to pick "The Time 100" and Sanjaya's in the top 15

Since Time magazine said "You" are the Person of the Year, they are going to let "You" pick who has been the most influential people this year.

So far, I really don't think this is a good idea because, I'm not kidding you, Sanjaya Malakar is currently in the #11 spot. Since the Fanjayas can't vote for their darling on American Idol, they continue to vote for him in whatever contest they can which apparently now is The Time 100 race. Eck!

If Sanjaya in the top of the heap isn't enough to make you dry heave, Stephen Colbert in the #1 spot just might. Oh yes it is! Not kidding. I think Colbert is funny and all, but "most influential" person in America? We are surely going to the out house my friends.
