In the current issue if US Weekly, Heidi Montag admits (outloud as if no one knew) that she had a boob job and a nose job because of body insecurities. She elaborates:
"If I was with a guy and there was a girl next to me with big boobs, I
would be like, Oh, my God, he’s looking at her! On the beach, if I was
standing next to a girl with big boobs, I’d be like, I hate her! I
hated my nose too. I have my dad’s nose, which is huge. It took up so
much of my face, when I looked down, I could see my nose. I couldn’t
get away from it!"
What's frightening to me though is that before she went into the surgery, she knew that there could be a possibility of death, but she didn't care and said that if she didn't wake up "it would be worth it." Okay, that is really not a healthy attitude.
Here's a picture of Heidi pre-surgery posing for STUFF magazine. First of all, it's so obvious that Heidi is a very pretty looking girl, so the flat chest and huge nose she hates just doesn't seem obvious to me. But Heidi is 21 and works in the beauty-obsessed world of Hollyweird, so I can see that after awhile, a young woman is going to be impressionable and want to keep up with the Boobses so her reality lens most definitely gets distorted.
Does Heidi look better? I'd say she looks different, but she was gorgeous without the surgery.
