68% of hubbies blame the wife for sexless marriage and other "give me a break" around the skinny-sphere
For a new book called "He's Just Not Up For it Anymore," NY sexologist Bob Berkowitz and his writer wife, Susan Yager-Berkowitz surveyed 4,000 men and women in marriages or long term co-habitation to find that most of them were not having sex anymore because of the man. "68 percent (of the men) blame their wives for failing to inflame their passion" as the reason for sex going kaput. Other reasons include, porn, exhaustion, over scheduling, and medications that affect woodies...Okay, my two cents. Two people are in the relationship and maybe the women are not as interested in sex because the man is the one making her feel not sexy, safe, or un-desirable. Perhaps the woman's libido is fine, and it's her man's unrealistic, emotionally distant, or selfish "what about my dick" attitude that is making her less open sexually. Ever thought about that guys? [NY Post]
I love Sephora for my girlie-girl fixes, but sometimes you'll see an asanine product in there like this horribly named cellulite cream "Fat Girl Slim." Bliss' marketing should get an award for "Bonehead product naming." [Sephora]
Have you Googled yourself? Oh come on, I know you have. It's alright, apparently 47% of adults have Googled themselves, and 53% have Googled someone else to get more 411 on them. I think the numbers are actually higher than what is reported. [AP via Yahoo News]
Security for the filming of Sex & the City the movie had to be beefed up not to protect the stars, but to protect the nearly $20 million in borrowed couture clothing & jewelry. That is a whole lot of expensive Posen, Choos, and Winstons. Me thinks the clothes may be a bigger star than the stars themselves. [Daily Mail]
Miss Fergalicious Fergie speaks: "People put celebrities on a pedestal and act like they're perfect. But I'm more
like the people's artist -- the same way Diana was 'the people's princess.' I'm a
little more human than other artists. I'm not afraid to show my flaws." Am I missing something. Not to be an ass, okay maybe a little, but what are her flaws that she let's us commoners see? There was the sex & drug thing with some lesbian experimentation when she was 18. So what rock star doesn't have that? Diana had bulimia, struggled with her weight/body image, loved a man who didn't love her back and cheated on her, tried to commit suicide, cheated on her husband, got divorced in front of the world, and suffered from depression. Fergie, I think you need to readjust your distortion lenses. [USA Today]
