Jennifer "I Love My Body" Hewitt slams body critics and other you-go!s around the skinny-sphere
JLove Hewitt is socking it to the judgmental mean kids about recent pics of her in Maui in a bikini. She says on her site, "I'm not upset for me, but for all of the girls out there that are struggling with their body image...A size 2 is not fat! Nor will it ever be. And being a size 0 doesn't make you beautiful...I
know what I look like, and so do my friends and family. And like all
women out there should, I love my body...To all girls with butts, boobs, hips and a waist, put on a bikini -- put it on and stay strong." Woo-hoo! JLove stock has just sky roketed! [Official Jennifer Love Hewitt site]
Nicky Taylor of the UK did a Super Size me type of thing, but instead of McDonalds she ate nothing but microwave foods for 30 days. Unlike Morgan Spurlock who gained 28 lbs, Nicky lost 8 lbs, however, at the end, she was depressed, had a cold that wouldn't go away, and had an awful case of backed up plumbing (her bowels not the toilet). As well, her body started to deplete of some vitamins & minerals as well as her HDL levels, the "good" cholesterol. So, what did we learn? Just because something is convienent and helps you lose weight doesn't mean that it's good for you health-wise. [Daily Mail]
Have you lost one of your gloves? Well, if you live in the Pittsburgh area, you might be able to find it at OneColdHand.com. Jennifer Gooch a graduate student at Carnegie Mellon University started the website after she noticed that she would find gloves all over the city. What a clever way to reunite parted gloves. [Yahoo News]
At the age of 52, Dana Delaney, of Desperate Housewives, is ready to get hitched and she considers herself a catch. We love a confident woman. She elaborates, "I don't have
any baggage, for better or worse. I don't have any plants or pets or
kids. I can lock the door and go. I need to be with somebody for whom
that's OK." Yes Dana, but is the toilet seat issue a deal breaker? [Contact Music]
