A couple Doctors feature Back in Skinny Jeans on their sites
I find it a huge honor when I have been asked to be a guest or have been given a shout out on a medical professional's website or blog because I am not a medical pro. I'm just someone who's learned a lot of things and shares what I've learned. Getting kudos from medical pros is like getting a big gold star on my blog work. I strongly emphasize that you start to look at health professionals as partners in your health prosperity.
Lately, Back in Skinny Jeans has been featured in two websites each belonging to a Doctor:
I was a guest on the radio show "Dr. Fitness and The Fat Guy" where I talked about my journey to drop 25 pounds, how Twitter was helping me drop the last 10 pounds, and about my "amazing break-up anger treadmill workouts." Dr. Fitness is Dr. Adam Shafran who specializes in Exercise Science and Sports Medicine, and The Fat Guy is Lee Kantor who was a gym owner at one time. Lee and I met on Twitter. If you haven't listened to this radio show, you must check it out because these guys are hilarious. They had me laughing the whole time. To listen to the show I guest visited, click here for my chat with Dr. Fitness an The Fat Guy.
Next up, Back in Skinny Jeans was named as one of "The Ten Health Blogs to Watch in 2008" on the "Ask Dr. Manny" website. Dr. Manny is the medical correspondent for the FOX News Channel. Listed with me are some really cool blogs on various health topics. I found some really get information, and I think all of you will definitely find gems in these blogs as well, so please check out my fellow health bloggers.
