"Your Two Cents": The term "Muffin Top" - cute or derogatory?
Some of you laid in to me because I was using the word muffin top too much, so I listened and backed off a bit. I think the term is kinda cute and a fun way of talking about the gut. I'm an apple shape, and the gut area for me has always been the hardest to get rid off, so I get the frustration. I prefer the term muffin top over love handles, but that's me. So, time for you to weigh-in....
Your Two Cents: Is the term "muffin top" a cute way to describe the gut area or is it derogatory, or does it depend on the context?
PS. As an FYI, one of the top 5 Google search terms from my Google Analytics report in which people find Back in Skinny Jeans is "get rid of muffin top." Lots of people want to know specifically about getting rid of their "muffin top."
