Humor: If the top tech blogs were actually about weight loss
The names of some of the top tech blogs sound like they would also be good names for weight loss blogs. So for fun, if we revisited the tech blogs as blogs for diets and losing weight, here's what I imagine them to be about:
TechCrunch: A blog about starting up your fitness plan so you can read more about fitness than actually working out.
Boing Boing: A group blog about cosmetic surgery, photo retouching, and the lengths people will go to keep their body parts perky, bouncy, and taut.
Gizmodo: A blog about all the exercise gadgets people buy "As seen on TV" that end up becoming clothes racks.
Mashable: Dressing tips to make you look skinnier and trimmer without losing any weight. Smash that muffin top without dieting.
Scobleizer: A weight loss blogger
who likes to bring his video camera to Weight Watchers and Jenny Craig
meetings and ask people how social weight loss is helping them get back
into their skinny jeans.
Lifehacker: Tips to start hacking out all those bad lifestyle habits that made you overweight in the first place.
Shoemoney: A motivational blog to keep you focused on your weight loss goal by showing you how all that money you spend on junk food can be saved for new shoes for your new skinny wardrobe.
The Wrong Advices: How to avoid all the useless and ineffective weight loss tips & advice that scammers use to take advantage of desperate people wanting to lose weight.
Crave: A fantasy blog about all those models and actresses who say they can eat anything they want and never gain weight
