What an amazing birthday week this has been so far, and today I want to talk about gratitude, a key to happiness. And at the end, you'll get a chance to win a pair of Joe's Jeans (gals or guys), some of the hottest jeans on the market. Even if you entered on any other post this week, you can still enter again today. Just one comment per day is all. So, that means you have up to 5 chances this week. Woo-hoo!
And just to brag a bit, here's some celebs who love the JJ's. I've been wearing a pair of the Cigarette style (as seen above in this idea for a potential book cover pic, hmmm?) Yours truly is full of gratitude for the soft forgiving denim which make the junk in our trunk look, well, hawt! If you're looking for weight loss goal reward jeans, then definitely take a look at Joe's Jeans.
First, to get you all in the mood, you MUST take a moment to enjoy "Say Hey [I Love You]" by Micheal Franti & Spearhead. So catchy, toe tapping. Right now, this song is at the top of my "happy songs" list, as the tune just brings out all kinds of joy! And indeed, you will get out of your chair and dance! I also love to run to this song.
Now that you are all jazzed up beaming with loving joy, I want you to take the next 2 minutes to focus solely on what you are grateful for in your life. Take a deep breathe and start, "I am grateful for...." and go on and on for 2 minutes. Write down too if you like so you have a reminder in your own words.
In this moment, you are living in the now and being fully present. When you start filling yourself up with gratitude, you will quickly see just how abundant and beautiful your life truly is.
For some, the inner critics and "But..." will start rearing their bully heads, but oh-no! Not for 2 minutes. Respectfully, send the bullies away for 2 minutes because you are in charge at this moment, not them.
Here are some things I'm grateful for:
- Say hey, I Love You my readers! You all left some of the most amazing comments on all the posts this week. My goodness I know you people were good but holey moley you all truly inspired me and far exceeded my expectations. If you are feeling at all crappy, lost, or alone right now, go read the comments on any post this week, and you will quickly have a better mood. Seriously!
- My triplet nieces were all born under 2lbs and 3 months premature which on the surface appeared like the cards were stacked against them. However, today they are 3 years old totally healthy and full of energy without any major health issues. Last weekend, I got to hang out with them and the 4 us played for about 2 hours. Auntie Steph was soooo tuckered out after that, but man those girls amaze me. They fought for their lives, and they remind me no matter how bad things could go or may look, with faith, hope, and lots of love, miraculous things can happen.
- I have awesome hair! I really scored in the hair genes. My dad has thick, coarse, wavy hair, and mom has shiny, thin hair. I got the best of both with the thick and shiny. I don't get split ends and so far no grey. I am very grateful for the good hair genes, and the fact that I can do all kinds of fun sexy things with the tresses!
- I get to do work I love, and work with people I like and respect. I get to choose what I do and with whom. It was a long and sometimes painful road to get to this level in my career, but well worth the hard work, risk and patience.
So, again, today's giveaway is qty-1 pair of Joe's Jeans (gals or guys style). Here's the prize details.
To enter to win, you must submit a comment about one thing you are grateful for right now. What in your life would you like to express gratitude for?
